Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN) and the host Fillmore Central Falcons (Harmony, MN), saw Kingsland's basketball squad hold off Fillmore Central by a tally of 66-61.

With the victory, Kingsland improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Houston (Houston, MN) to confront the Hurricanes in a A Section 1 challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Houston won 56-54 in their recent league challenge against Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN)

Next up, the Falcons confront the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Fillmore Central will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 92-52 non-league loss to Lake City (Lake City, MN).
