Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 51-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a Fairfield County bout on Thursday, February 15. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Trumbull won 55-39 in their recent league bout against Staples (Westport, CT)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Greenwich will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 76-70 league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT).
