The McCluer North Stars (Florissant, MO) basketball felled the visiting Hazelwood West Wildcats (Hazelwood, MO), 65-56 in Monday's league test.

The Stars (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO). The Spartans go into the Suburban - Green test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Hazelwood East was beaten by Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO), 58-50, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they host Ritenour for a Suburban - Green test on Friday, February 16. Hazelwood West will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to McCluer (Florissant, MO). The Huskies record now stands at 4-14.
