Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY) and the host Huntington Expression Prep Kings (Huntington, WV), saw Pikeville's basketball squad knock off Huntington Expression Prep by a tally of 61-48.

With the victory, Pikeville improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to battle the Warriors in a District 59 battle on Tuesday, February 13. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 8-11. East Ridge lost 78-51 in their recent non-league battle against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY)

The Kings (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Floyd Central beat Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 75-72, in a non-league battle.
