The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was nudged 46-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC)
The Lions now possess a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a 1A Northwest Piedmont battle on Tuesday, February 13. Millennium will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 75-58 league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-10.
The (412-1493) will now prepare for their test against Columbus Christian (Columbus, IN). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 13-14 record. In their last test, Columbus Christian got by Crothersville (Crothersville, IN), 59-52, in a non-league test.
