Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) and the visiting Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI), saw Sault Area's basketball squad knock off Pickford by a tally of 79-59.

With the victory, Sault Area improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Rudyard (Rudyard, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Eastern Upper Peninsula challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-4.

Next up, the Panthers play the St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 14. Pickford will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 93-88 non-league loss to Marquette (Marquette, MI).
