Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cibola upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Volcano Vista lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)

Next up, the Knights play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Del Norte will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 80-18 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).
