Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 40-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Highlanders host Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Jennings County lost 23-19 in their recent non-league bout against Connersville (Connersville, IN)

Next up, the Green Waves play the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Meade County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
