The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Avery Bulldogs to 10 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.

The Hornets now sport a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graford for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Dodd City will battle a Rabbits team coming off a 70-30 non-league win over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 27-6.
