The Bertrand Vikings basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Franklin Flyers to 20 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overton for a D2 District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Bertrand will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-57 non-league win over Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 22-1.
