Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Canby Lancers (Canby, MN), 56-39 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton improves its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN) to confront the Chargers in a A Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 22-3. Westbrook-Walnut Grove won 71-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Madelia (Madelia, MN)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Lakeview Lakers (Cottonwood, MN) in a A Section 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Canby will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 57-30 league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN).
