The Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD), 49-27 in Monday's league test.
The Spartans (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Pumas go into the Prince George's County 4A test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Wise was trounced by Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), 55-52, in a league test.
The now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Tuesday, February 13. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 46-45 league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 6-15.
