Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN) and the visiting Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN), saw Willmar's basketball squad knock off Dawson-Boyd by a count of 63-55.

With the victory, Willmar upgrades its record to 17-14 on the campaign. The Cardinals host St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to play the Johnnies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Johnnies come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Blackjacks play the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN) in a A Section 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Dawson-Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to B O L D (Olivia, MN).
