Maryland High School Basketball - Holton-Arms fells Springdale Prep

February 12, 2024: Bethesda, MD 20817

Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD), 61-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Holton-Arms upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The host Episcopal (Alexandria, VA) to clash with the Maroon in a VISAA Division I bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Maroon go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Episcopal won 58-28 in their recent league bout against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Springdale Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 24-23 season record. The Gael go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 48-47 non-league win over Washington (Charles Town, WV).
