The Hooks Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Mineola Yellowjackets to 50 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hornets now sport a 28-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Idabel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Hooks will meet a Warriors team coming off a 76-54 non-league win over Pocola (Pocola, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 17-1.
