The Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) basketball felled the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 45-32 in Monday's non-league test.

In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) in a Peninsula match, on Tuesday, February 13. Woodside will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Dukes enter the match with a 6-15 record after their 47-10 non-league win over West Point (West Point, VA).

With the defeat, Indian River moves to 11-11 on the year. The Braves travel to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Hawks in a Southeastern match on Tuesday, February 13. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 7-14. Hickory lost 56-50 in their recent non-league match against Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA)
