Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), 72-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Zumbrota-Mazeppa upgrades its record to 11-15 on the season. The Cougars host Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN) to clash with the Komets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Komets go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Kasson-Mantorville won 61-37 in their recent league bout against Faribault (Faribault, MN)

Next up, the Knights clash with the United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 8-17 record after their 69-58 league loss to Cleveland (Cleveland, MN).
