With the win, Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Knights host Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a A Section 8 bout on Friday, February 16. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Mahnomen/Waubun lost 52-35 in their recent non-league bout against Nevis (Nevis, MN)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Laporte will attempt to upgrade on its 3-27 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 84-12 non-league win over Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN).
