The Standing Rock Warriors basketball team (Fort Yates, ND), was routed 63-40 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD)
The Mustangs now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakpala for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. McLaughlin will battle a Sioux team coming off a 70-41 league win over Bison (Bison, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 14-6.
The Warriors (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Killdeer (Killdeer, ND). The Cowboys come into the A Region 4 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Killdeer was routed by Trinity (Dickinson, ND), 52-39, in a league battle.
