Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Molina Jaguars (Dallas, TX), 62-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Poteet upgrades its record to 23-12 on the season. The Pirates travel to Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 26-9. Wakeland won 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Frisco, TX)
