In Monday's league outing, the Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Mora Mustangs (Mora, MN), by a count of 41-23.

The Sting (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN). The Lions go into the AA Section 6 outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Legacy Christian Academy defeated Eagle Ridge Academy (Minnetonka, MN), 67-29, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Mora will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 49-20 non-league win over Kelley (Silver Bay, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-17.
