The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleburne for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Ennis will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Ryan (Denton, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Lake Highlands falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ferris (Ferris, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Ferris won 20-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Carter (Dallas, TX)
