California High School Softball - Palm Springs can't get by Yucca Valley

February 12, 2024: Palm Springs, CA 92262

In Monday's non-league contest, the Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA) softball team held off the host Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Yucca Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA) to play the Scorpions in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. The Scorpions come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Hesperia won 19-9 in their recent non-league contest against Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA)

In their next game, the Indians play the Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 14. Palm Springs will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Perris (Perris, CA).
