The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) and the host Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), observed Easton's basketball team edge Stearns by a margin of 49-42.
The Bears (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Katahdin edged Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME), 78-33, in a league challenge.
