The Middletown Islanders basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Narragansett Mariners to 63 in the Islanders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Islanders now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Chariho for a Division II game on Thursday, February 13. Middletown will play a Chargers team coming off a 63-37 league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 4-16.

With the loss, Narragansett falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Mariners host East Providence (East Providence, RI) to play the Townies in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Townies go into the game with a record of 9-12. East Providence lost 77-69 in their recent league game against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)
