Louisiana High School Basketball - Young Audiences overwhelmed by Newman

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) basketball squad trounced the host Young Audiences Yacs (Gretna, LA), by a score of 66-33.

Next, the Greenies encounter the Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Newman will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record.

The Yacs (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA). The Tigers come into the 3A District 9 test with a 3-20 record.
