The Avon Old Farms Beavers ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the host Frederick Gunn Highlanders to 2 in the Beavers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Beavers now hold a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hotchkiss School for a bout on Friday, February 14. Avon Old Farms will play a Bearcats team coming off a 2-2 league Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-13.

With the defeat, Frederick Gunn moves to 11-11 on the season. The Highlanders host Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 19-8. Brunswick School lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA)
