The Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) ice hockey held off the visiting Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), 2-1 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Spartans now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Division 1 outing on Friday, February 14. Queensbury will encounter a Plainsmen team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 13-5.
With the defeat, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake moves to 0-3 on the season.
