With the victory, Portola advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 0-2. Segerstrom lost 20-2 in their recent non-league game against Norco (Norco, CA)

The Knights now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Lynwood will play a Nitros team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Calabasas (Calabasas, CA). The Nitros record now stands at 0-1.
