The Hondo Owls softball team (Hondo, TX), was routed 18-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX)

With the triumph, Palmview improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lobos travel to Boerne (Boerne, TX) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 12. The Greyhounds enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Boerne won 16-1 in their recent league contest against Wagner (San Antonio, TX)

The Owls now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boerne for a non-league game on Friday, February 13. Hondo will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-0.
