The Pike County Pirates baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Ola Mustangs to 2 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their match against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, River Ridge edged Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA), 6-3, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Central (Carrollton, GA). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Central was overwhelmed by Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
