Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), 67-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Croswell-Lexington upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Richmond (Richmond, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a Blue Water Area game on Thursday, February 16. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 15-1. Richmond won 41-40 in their recent league game against Almont (Almont, MI)

With the defeat, Anchor Bay moves to 7-11 on the year. The Tars travel to Utica (Utica, MI) to face the Chieftains in a Macomb Area - Blue game on Thursday, February 16. The Chieftains enter the game with a record of 13-3. Utica won 57-56 in their recent non-league game against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI)
