The Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Pittsville Panthers (Pittsville, WI), 61-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Phillips (Phillips, WI). The Loggers go into the Marawood - North test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Phillips notched a victory over Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI), 60-58, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Port Edwards for a Central Wisconsin - South test on Friday, February 17. Pittsville will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 73-68 non-league loss to Shiocton (Shiocton, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 12-4.
