Colorado High School Basketball - Sedgwick County ripped by Briggsdale

February 13, 2023: Julesburg, CO 80737

The Briggsdale Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Sedgwick County Cougars to 38 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie for a 1A North Central contest on Friday, February 17. Briggsdale will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 54-44 non-league win over Lone Star (Otis, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-12.

The Cougars (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Fleming (Fleming, CO). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Fleming triumphed over Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO), 63-53, in a non-league contest.
