The Colome Cowboys basketball team (Colome, SD), was overwhelmed 60-32 in Monday's league battle with the host Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD)
The Gorillas now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andes Central/Dakota Christian for a B Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Gregory will battle a team coming off a 65-24 non-league loss to Ethan (Ethan, SD). The record now stands at 0-17.
The Cowboys (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Burke (Burke, SD). The Cougars come into the B Region 5 battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Burke trounced North Central (Bassett, NE), 52-51, in a non-league battle.
