The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) basketball felled the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN), 54-41 in Monday's league test.
The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs go into the AA Section 3 test with a 15-5 record.
The Lakers now own a 1-21 record. They play next when they host Breckenridge for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. Minnewaska Area will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 80-59 non-league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-15.
