Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) and the host New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), saw Genesee Christian's basketball squad wallop New Lothrop by a tally of 68-24.
With the victory, Genesee Christian improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Soldiers host Bentley (Burton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Genesee Area - Red challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Hornets play the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. New Lothrop will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Hatchets come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Meridian (Sanford, MI).
