Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL), 59-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Glenwood upgrades its record to 15-14 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to play the Cyclones in a Central State Eight bout on Thursday, February 16. The Cyclones come into the bout with a record of 26-3. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 69-48 in their recent non-league bout against Peoria (Peoria, IL)

Next up, the Rockets play the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 3-23 season record. The Little Giants come into the bout with a 7-21 record after their 57-31 league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
