Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA), 53-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lancaster Mennonite upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Blazers host Steelton-Highspire (Steelton, PA) to play the Steamrollers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 22. The Steamrollers come into the bout with a record of 9-11.

Next up, the Black Knights play the Warwick Warriors (Lititz, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Hempfield will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 52-50 non-league win over Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA).
