Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Mary's crushes Nicollet

St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), 96-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Knights host Springfield (Springfield, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 2 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Springfield won 66-53 in their recent league bout against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN)

Next up, the Raiders play the Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Nicollet will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 0-19 record after their 101-44 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
