In Monday's non-league outing, the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) basketball squad edged the visiting West Logan Christian Academy Warriors (Logan, WV), by a count of 74-72.

The Renegades (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Independence held off Midland Trail (Hico, WV), 70-53, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 14-5 record.
