The Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) basketball knocked off the host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD), 42-28 in Monday's non-league test.
The Thorpes (4-14) will now prepare for their test against McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, McLaughlin went down by Todd County (Mission, SD), 67-42, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a A Region 6 test on Thursday, February 16. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 71-36 league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
