The Hurley Northstars basketball team (Hurley, WI), was overwhelmed 62-35 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI)
The Cardinals now possess a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Florence for a Northern Lakes battle on Friday, February 17. Crandon will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to Niagara (Niagara, WI). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-10.
The Northstars (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Cardinals come into the Indianhead battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, South Shore trounced Flambeau (Tony, WI), 69-30, in a non-league battle.
