The Wayne County War Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host East Central Hornets to 19 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The War Eagles now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Harrison for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. Wayne County will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 48-23 non-league win over Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Hurricanes record now stands at 20-8.
