Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 47-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Houston Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Leopards come into the bout with a record of 5-11. Mobile Christian won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL)
