In Monday's non-league match, the host Lakeland Cavaliers basketball team scored a tight 51-45 triumph over the Ocean Lakes Dolphins.
In their next game, the Cavaliers meet the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern match, on Tuesday, February 14. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 16-5 record after their 64-32 league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
With the defeat, Ocean Lakes moves to 7-15 on the year.
