In Monday's non-league outing, the Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO), by a margin of 63-35.

The Thunder (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ellicott (Calhan, CO). The Thunderhawks go into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks outing with a 15-3 record. In their last outing, Ellicott was trounced by St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO), 53-42, in a league outing.
