In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Lumberton Panthers basketball team scored a good 35-25 triumph over the Leake County Gators.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 17. Lumberton will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 21-2 record after their 73-13 non-league win over Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS).
With the defeat, Leake County moves to 8-14 on the year.
