Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Shade Panthers (Cairnbrook, PA) and the visiting McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA), saw Shade's basketball squad wallop McConnellsburg by a tally of 55-21.

With the victory, Shade improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign.

Next up, the Spartans play the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) in a Inter County - South challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. McConnellsburg will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 67-46 league win over Everett (Everett, PA).
