Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnewaska Area trounces Osakis

The Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), 61-35 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lakers (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen go into the AA Section 6 test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Melrose was trounced by West Central Area (Barrett, MN), 55-42, in a non-league test.
The Silverstreaks now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Swanville for a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. Osakis will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-44 league loss to Braham (Braham, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-9.
